Join Australian contemporary dance pioneer Elzabeth Cameron Dalman AM as she shares 60 years of her evolving dance practice.

In the 60th year of Australian Dance Theatre, Australia’s oldest continuing contemporary dance company – which Elizabeth founded and led for its first 10 years – she celebrates her own long career and legacy.

Dubbed ‘the rebel of the dance’ by critics in the 1960s, Elizabeth took her dancers from Australian Dance Theatre (ADT) to new heights of innovation and experimentation.

Key members of Elizabeth’s Weereewa (Lake George) based Mirramu Dance Company (MDC) and long-time collaborators from Taiwan present historic works from the early years of ADT, choreographies from the 30 years of Mirramu and a new work that celebrates the continuing artistic evolution of this doyenne of Australian contemporary dance.
