Amanda Tutalo is a graduate of the McDonald College of Performing Arts, Sydney (1998) and has a Bachelor of Arts in Dance from Western Sydney University (2001). She has been a proud member of Mirramu Dance Company for more than 20 years.

She has performed in short films, musicals, pantomimes, festivals, and has worked with various independent choreographers and companies across New South Wales and the ACT including: Kate Middleweek; Vivienne Rogis; Kiri Morecombe; Regina Botros; Talia Lacob; projects for Western Sydney Dance Action; Red Factory; Bodies; Short & Sweet; the Opening Ceremony of the 2000 Olympic Games; Cuneo Dance Company; and Canberra Dance Theatre.
Her work with Mirramu Dance Company began in 2002 when she received a Foot in the Door II Award from the Australia Council for the Artsfor a secondment with the company. Some of the productions where she featured include: Silk (2002), Red Earth (2003), Red Sun) (2004), Bride in the Desert (2005, 2006), Waves of the Desert (2006),Tango Lament (2009), Brassy (2010), Sapling to Silver (2011), L (2015), Contours (2017) and ECDysis (2025).
She has enjoyed the interdisciplinary and cross cultural work, and opportunities to explore environmental and social issues as a member of Mirramu Dance Company including opportunities to perform and tour with the company across NSW, ACT, SA and NT and internationally.
Amanda has coached ballet for the girls YMCA Gymnastics in Queanbeyan and taught dance at Mirramu Creative Arts Centre. Following completion of a Bachelor of Education in Primary Teaching (2007) and Graduate Certificate in Early Childhood Education (2012) Amanda has also taught dance and yoga for over a decade in Canberra Primary Schools including raising the profile of dance in schools and making it her mission to carve more space for the Performing Arts in schools and the broader community
