MDC and associate artists

Formed in 2002, Mirramu Dance Company is directed by well-known Australian dance pioneer Dr Elizabeth Cameron Dalman OAM CdOAL.

The Company presents professional productions in Australia and overseas in both traditional and alternative venues.

Mirramu Dance Company believes in sharing and communicating through the creative process, inviting artists from different disciplines to work with the company.

The company encourages inter-cultural exchange and has established collaborations with Indigenous Australian dance artists as well as performers from Japan, Taiwan, Malaysia, Singapore, the Netherlands and Senegal.

Touring

Mirramu Dance Company is based in Canberra and its surrounding regions. It tours in Australia and internationally.

Teaching

Elizabeth teaches movement and dance to professional and non-professional dancers.  Currently, community dance classes are held at Belconnen Arts Centre and Mirramu Creative Arts Centre.
