Mirramu on Tour June to November 2014

Mirramu successfully toured Malaysia and Taiwan with its production of Mirror Image in June this year. The work attracted critical acclaim in both places.Old Lady -small

It was yet another example of the way Mirramu works across cultures to create real artistic partnerships. The production and its tour were unfunded but continued with private support and the dedication of the artists and Artistic Director of Mirramu, Elizabeth Cameron Dalman.

In July, Elizabeth performed her Old Lady solo at the World Dance Alliance Global Summit  in AngersFrance. Her performance was met with rapturous applause and audience acclaim from such a gathering is truly the jewel in the crown for a choreographer/dancer.

In November Elizabeth performs again at the Tsai Jui Yueh Festival in Taipei, Taiwan with a new work entitled Ange of the Earth – her comment on nuclear energy. She incorporates into this work a piece called Snake Bite, an acknowledgement and reverence of the Rainbow Serpent story of Indigenous Australia.
