Fortuity Project 2015 receives funding

We are  delighted to announce that the Fortuity Project for 2015 has been awarded artsACT funding.

Tammi Taiwan-smallFortuity is a series of public space performances of early ADT repertoire by Elizabeth Cameron Dalman and Eleo Pomare along with new works in response to the performance spaces.

It culminates in two performances and audience forums, bringing these works together at The Courtyard Theatre in May. 2015 is the 50th anniversary year not only for Australian Dance Theatre, founded by Elizabeth in 1965, but also of the Canberra Theatre.

Mirramu is privileged to be partnered by the Canberra Theatre in this project. MIrramu dancers Tammi Gissell, Vivienne Rogis and Miranda Wheen will perform in Fortuity as well as some international guest artists. More news of this work to come soon.
